Welcome to CNH Kiwanis Division 31! Our ten Kiwanis Clubs are an eclectic mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds and interests. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive. We are devoted to serving the children in our local community and also children all across the country and worldwide through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives. NEW FOR THE 2025-2026 YEAR: Our Division is GROWING!

After a decision by the Board of Trustees, Divisions 11 and 31 (with the exception of the San Diego Downtown Club) will be combined, and therefore considered Division 31 as of the new Kiwanis year! On October 1, we will be including six Kiwanis Clubs to our growing division. Welcome to the Kiwanis Clubs of Bonita, Chula Vista, Imperial Beach – South Bay, Southeastern San Diego, Sweetwater National City, and Tijuana! JULY DCM RECAP

Thank you to our wonderful hosts from the Kiwanis Club of Lakeside!BIG TAKEAWAY: Working together means we can do more! Sue spoke about working with other clubs and as a division to make a bigger impact.

  • International Convention Materials can be found HERE for all Kiwanis members. It has lots of really great information and materials. 
  • For those who are sponsoring parks or school play areas, there is a contest for a Legacy of Play structure HERE.
  • Santee is looking into refurbishing the Kiwanis Park at Santee Lakes. This could be a great division-wide project.
  • If your club is starting a new project, please remember that you can apply for both a CNH District grant as well as a KI grant
  • Would you like great deals on safety items for kids? Order them from the CNH  Children’s Fund at a great deal.

To Do for Presidents and Secretaries:

  • Each club is being asked to give at least $10 for a Governor’s gift. Please pay Sue directly or through Venmo (@Sue-Franke-1)
  • Please advertise our CLE on August 30th. It should be on everyone’s calendar.

Upcoming Events:

  • July 12: Stuff the Bus: Walmart on Saturn Blvd on Saturday,  8 AM to 2 PM to help Imperial Beach South Bay Kiwanis collect school supplies
  • July 16: Division 11 is having their DCM in National City. Martha will let us know where soon.
  • July 19: Kiwanis is walking in the San Diego Pride Festival. They are welcoming any Kiwanis members (or students) who wish to participate. If you want to watch, the information is HERE.
  • August 1: Kiwanis Night at the Lake Elsinore Storm
  • August 2: The Kiwanis Club of Lakeside’s Boot Scootin’ Chuckwagon
  • August 7-9CNH District Convention in Las Vegas
  • August 12: Santee will host our next DCM, place TBD
  • August 30: Club Leadership Education for all of Region 1 at Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church – More info is coming soon!
  • September 13Twilight Tasting at Cuyamaca Water Conservation Garden
